CASEing the Catty #126 – Mother’s Day

Hi there.  Welcome to CASEing the Catty #126.  CTC is a group of Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to create using the Stampin’ Up!  ® catalogues as inspiration.

Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEST), the CTC Crew will either directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for their own creations.

Tonight we are featuring Mother’s Day projects inspired/CASED from either the Occasions or Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogues.

We have been working with a different challenge format and we hope you love it as much as the crew do.  The CHALLENGES for CTC have moved to a Facebook Group and you can join in here – https://www.facebook.com/groups/1625891621049580/

The CTC Crew will kick start the challenge with a blog hop and you will have all week to create and join in.  We’d love to see you there and make sure you invite all your crafty friends to join the group.

You may have just hopped from Elizabeth Gross blog or started the hop here.  Either way, welcome to CTC #126!

My inspiration is taken from page 43 of the Occasions Catty.  Myself and two friends ran a Mother’s Day Class on Friday.  It was a great night as the ladies learned how to do a Pop and Twist Card with Jo, a marbled background with De and I prepared  kits to make this cute Hexagon Box (the card was made just as a sample).

Samples from the Occasions Catalogue

I find that CASEing the Catty for a class project makes a lot of sense, as customers get to see the catalogue as a great source of inspiration and discover that the projects are not at all daunting to recreate.

My Mother’s Day Projects

I’m a bit sad that the beautiful succulent dies, stamps and DSP will be retiring at the end of May so make sure you grab the bundle while you can! However, that cute hexagon box is sticking around for at least another year and I will be featuring quite a few projects that use the Window Box Thinlits over the coming weeks. 😉

Up next on the Mother’s Day CTC Blog Hop we have the lovely, Rachel Palmieri

  1. sounds like ti would have been a fun class. I love your project, the flower on top is stunning. – is that a new colour I spy? works a treat! and I can’t wait to see what else you make with the hexagon box too!

  2. Gorgeous projects (as always). Yes I agree that CASEING from the catalogues is perfect for showing customers at our classes. I’d like to case that idea! Thankyou.
